VMS Job Application Kiosk — Instructions

What it does: One tap opens the correct application form (DJ, Host, Marketing). Hired staff can also use this kiosk to open the Staff Control Panel.

For Applicants

1. Touch the kiosk.
2. Your viewer will prompt to open a web page. Allow it.
3. Select DJ, Host, or Marketing.
4. Complete the form and submit. We’ll IM you with next steps.

For Staff (after you’re hired)

1. Touch the kiosk.
2. Your viewer will prompt to open a web page. Allow it.
3. You will be logged into the Staff Control Panel.
4. Use Available Shifts to claim, and My Events to manage your sets.

DJ Stream Controller — Instructions

Purpose: Set the venue’s music by entering a live DJ stream URL.

1. Touch the controller.
2. Select Set Stream.
3. Paste your streaming URL (include port/path if needed) and Submit.
4. When confirmed, the venue’s music changes immediately.

Reset

Touch → Reset to restart the device and clear the current setting.

Note: Use a valid, active stream URL (e.g., http://example.com:8000/stream).

VMS Staff HUD – Instructions

1. Right-click in inventory → Add.
2. Your logged into → Staff Portal no password required
3. Go to Available Shifts → Claim your time block.
4. View upcoming events → My Events.
5. Increase your pay with → My Rewards increase your hourly rate up to 50%

Tip: You don’t need to wear it during events.

Tip Jar Pro — Instructions

Purpose: Exclusive-control staff tip jar. The active owner receives 100% of tips.

Who Can Use It

DJ, Host, or any VMS staff member.

How to Use

1. Touch the jar → choose Take Ownership.
2. The jar confirms your name as owner. From now on, all tips go to you.
3. When finished, Touch → choose Release Jar so the next staffer can claim it.

Notes

• One owner at a time — you can’t claim while someone else owns it.
• Always release the jar at the end of your shift.

Troubleshooting

• Can’t claim: Another staffer currently owns it — ask them to release.
• Stuck/wrong owner: Ask a manager to reset the jar.

Group Join Board — Instructions

Purpose: Provide visitors with the venue’s official group join link via local chat.

For Visitors

1. Touch the board.
2. The board shows the venue name, then posts the group join link in local chat.
3. Open your chat and click the link to view/join the group.

Donation Board — Instructions

Purpose: Accept visitor donations to support the venue and events.

For Visitors

1. Touch the board.
2. Select a donation amount (or enter a custom amount, if offered).
3. Confirm the payment in your viewer.
4. You'll see a brief thank-you message in chat.

EchoBlaster Announcer — Instructions

Purpose: Broadcast pre-saved notices/messages to venue chat on a timer. Supports On/Off, delay between posts, and Say or Shout range.

Controls

• Power: On / Off
• Chat Range: Say (nearby ~20m) or Shout (region-wide ~100m)
• Delay: Interval between posts (e.g., 180 seconds)

How to Use

1. Touch the device.
2. Set the Delay (how often it should post).
3. Choose chat range: Say (local) or Shout (wider reach).
4. Toggle On. The device will post the selected message at the chosen interval until turned Off.

Troubleshooting

• No posts? Make sure Power is On, a Message is selected, and the Delay is not zero.
• Not reaching far enough? Switch from Say (~20m) to Shout (~100m).
• Posting the wrong text? Check the notecard contents and reselect the correct message.

EchoBlaster Events — Instructions

Purpose: Announce the venue’s next upcoming events to local chat.

Controls

• Power: On / Off
• Chat Range: Say (nearby ~20m) or Shout (region-wide ~100m)

How to Use

1. Touch the device.
2. Select On to enable announcements.
3. Choose Say or Shout for the chat distance.
4. To stop announcements, touch and select Off.

What It Posts

A simple list of the next upcoming events for this venue (time, title, and staff if available).

Troubleshooting

• No messages? Make sure the device is On and the venue has upcoming events.
• Too quiet? Switch to Shout for region-wide reach.
• Wrong venue? Reset/select the correct venue (owner/manager).
